Custom Home in Dartmouth, MA

Project Summary

This custom home, in Dartmouth, MA,  features multiple forms of energy for heating and cooling.  Geothermal energy, using Bosch heat pumps, is used for heating and cooling the home, with a backup Viessmann boiler in the event the geothermal system cannot keep up with demand.  Viessmann solar thermal panels on the roof of the home take advantage of the sun’s rays to supplement domestic hot water needs.  The home has Viega radiant heat throughout for the most comfortable heat available.  And, a low profile Unico air conditioning system provides cooling without taking anything away from the beautiful interior design of the home.  To ensure indoor air quality, we installed an Aprilaire steam humidifier.

TJ’s also installed custom plumbing at this home, including a custom master bathroom.  The shower features Grohe shower heads and diverters for the ultimate shower experience.  The powder room in the home was tastefully designed using a Toto water closet and a beautiful glass sink sitting on a custom wood top. The faucet is wall mounted over the bowl. The accent lighting and mirrors in this room make it look spectacular!

The homeowners of this custom home were personally involved in every aspect of the home’s design; both inside and out.  Their attention to detail and the beautiful waterfront location really make this home something special.  It is truly a showcase home.
